So, it's really a brotherhood of brokeness, as it were. Josh still would like a Jeep, but we can't afford that brotherhood while enduring the Brotherhood of Teenage Toyota Tundra Drivers. Yikes! Simply put thank-you for the encouragement! There are unfortunately people out there that don't get it yet...but I know there are many volunteers, pastors, and staff that DO and I am thank-ful to be a small part of a team that does! I was reminded it's not only about next Sunday it's about what's to come. God started a good work on the West and He plans to bring it to completion! My blueprint is going on the refrigerator where all my important reminders live! Praying without ceasing as you and Phillip continue to share your One Prayer this Sunday! Make us Uncomfortable, Dangerous, Passionate, Generous and Courageous to reach one more and one more....for Jesus! After that meeting yesterday, I cannot even begin to verbalize how pumped I am! Good Stuff...God is moving us both as this goes with my rethink this week from Frances Chan and his blog.....chewing on Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:41 comes before Acts 2:42-47....we meet together in group to plan on how we reach out to others so many can be saved...we don't just meet together for the sake of meeting....that is the cart before the horse! Whew! I haven't checked your web page in a awhile and when I saw your #5 comment to your Mom for her birthday, I lost it. The only other thing I would like to add is that your Grandmother, Geneva, made damn sure you would make it into this world no matter who she had to stand up to. I remember like it was yesterday... Middle of the night... patiently waiting at Doctor's Hospital in Coral Gables for your arrival. The only thing I regret was because I was so young, they would not let me come up and see you firsthand in the Maternity Ward. I was as mad as an 11 year old can get because they didn't tell me I couldn't see you until the last minute. But, back in the day, children wern't allowed in the Maternity Ward. I had to wait until they brought you home to meet you and the wait drove me absolutely crazy. But when I did finally meet you, I knew we would be bonded forever through love.
