I can confirm, at least from our own experience, that since we went to this plan at the Banks Mill campus that we have definitely seen the affects of growth due to personal invitation in the Group we are now attending. Of course, we have an extra advantage due to manning the Connections Kiosk! Therefore, I again encourage H.O.M.E. Group Leaders to hang out near the group info place where ever that is on each campus. For those folks new or visiting our church for the first time, it is so helpful to them to have a familiar face to expect the first time they take that next step to actually visit a H.O.M.E. Group.

I was just praying over my marriage…..something I’m learning to do. The verse from 2 Corinthians 20, was exactly what I needed to hear. I am at war on the battle ground of my marriage and I have been trying to do the work that was meant for God to do. I finally understand what that means. so true when parenting a teen-ager (or two)…..I want to rescue them yet know they will only learn by experiencing the struggles and resulting consequences…….why is it that so many teen-ager consequences end up “consequencing” us parents?!

I know that Sunday is the Baptism…but will there be “MITM” Sunday evening at some point? Just Wondering. I will talk to my HG leaders (Vincents) and ask if we could do this for my one-year-old son and myself. But if we already have “MITM” planned for Sunday I would like to join? Let me know your thoughts. Hope your day and week are wonderful. CCW has been a pure blessing to my family and myself in so many ways. Thank you for all that each of you do. I feel honored to be a part of this blog post, and humbled to be in glory of a great God. Something that really stuck with me was your statement about being surprised. Lemmie tell ya, surprise was not even the word when we saw what had happend. God is great and demonstrates his power and majesty even when we don’t really believe he can… I think he did it for me just to slap me around and say “Really, lemmie show ya how real I can be in your life.” Love ya brother, thanks for helping me continue to be amazed at this event!
