East Africa Travel Day 1

Well, we left out of Augusta Monday night (June 13) at about 7:30 pm.  Flew to Atlanta and had a layover that was a little longer than expected due to some issues with the plane.  They got them straight and we took off about an hour and a half later than we expected.  No worries.  Flight was smooth and we landed in Dubai, UAE at around 8:30 pm local time Tuesday (12:30 pm for y’all in Aiken).

We are basically killing time with coffee and social media until 5:00 am, when we can “officially” enter the terminal that our African flight leaves from.  We should be leaving around 7:30 am Wednesday, June 15 (that will be 11:30 pm previous day for EST).  The flight should take 3-4 hours until we land in East Africa.

Thanks to all who are praying and messaging.  The team is in good spirits and traveling well.  More to come later as I get wifi access.
